What is the bitrate of the rips?

All our rips are A constant Bitrate of 1100 KBits/s


This ensures a constant level of quality for all our rips.

Although a varying Filesize. (as We Do Not Crop The Picture To Lower The Filesize,All we remove is the black bars.
 Unlike Other Release groups.)


We are sure in this modern day with storage very cheap the outdated "scene" size rips of 700 mb are completely pointless.

Any greater bitrate would produce a larger file which would take longer to download.

we find that this bitrate produces excellent quallity for a reasonable size of file.

I looked in the files that came with one of Klaxxon torrents.
And this is what I digged out.

Program: FairUse
Encoding type: Xvid and Ac3
Encoding speed: 5 (Speed -----| Quality)
Adjust the file size so it shows 1100 Kbits/s
2 Passes

Ripping with the settings above gives really good results
Of cause you could be using a custom xvid matrix.

I still download Klaxxons releases but uses the above settings to rip my danish movies that is not so easy to get hold of on public trackers.
