Hey guys, I'm wondering what I need to do to come and lap your track.  I don't see any open track days on your schedule, are their novice classes or something that I need to complete?  PIR has HPDE days, but that track just doesn't look like much fun, especially for my car (77hp).  Do you have events similar to those?  And are we done for the year or does the track run in the off season?  Thanks, hope to race with you soon!!

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

First let me say lapping is lapping, racing is racing. They are entirely different things and you need to be very proficient at the former before venturing into the novice program to learn the later. At this time the only event scheduled for this fall is the S.T.A.R. Projects "Triple Play Track Day" on November 7th. You would need to be signed off by your instructor at a Cascade or Team Continental Driver Training as "novice eligible" to be qualified to be a student for a S.T.A.R. Event. We anticipate having several Driver schools at O.R.P. next year. Keep watching the schedule and sign up early. Other track day presenters may have a less strict threshold for participation but none are yet scheduled for the spring.

Thank you for your inquiry. If you would like more information on track days or racing please reply to [hidden email] and I will put you on our update list.

Yes, that's what I meant!  Just hot lapping for me, no racing just yet.  And yes I would like to get on that mailing list, thanks a lot for the reply!

you might do some lapping at whatever track you can find, one with a novice session too. So, power or not, try PIR with one of the car clubs, or performance clubs.

I'm guessing your car weights less than a thousand pounds, should be fun anywhere.

ps the alfa club has one right away, check it out.
