From Jenny George's GAFCON blogging:

A. Anglican means people in fellowship with Canterbury
B. Anglican means people who use the prayer book as the basis for worship
C. Anglican means people who have a particular system of episcopal government
D. Anglican means people who subscribe to the historic creeds and documents of Anglicanism such as the 39 articles
E. Anglican means people who see the vernacular word and sacraments as central to their life together

Let's have a vote!

I vote D

D's correct of course, Jereth, and demonstrably so, but you can't really exclude the whole alphabet of options, including rank unbelief. The worst of the worst at Lambeth are all still Anglicans.

The real question is probably something like, given that you can be anything you want and still call yourself Anglican, what do we do now?

Just following this up, D has got a nice nudge along now thanks to GAFCON. That is great news, and it will be good to see how this is built on in coming months. There's every reason to be prayerfully hopeful about continuing realignments, I believe.
