What I wore at my Wedding

Elaine ann forgot to say I love weddings too my hubbie worse than me he always cry's.

Right I wore a long tight fitting dress with a 6 ft train ( I was 7st 2lb ) with bell sleeves, a long veil.  I had 3 bridesmaids my niece 4yrs, hubbies niece 3yrs and my best friend same age as me 19 ( I was just a baby ) little ones in white with pale blue shoes and sashes, big one in long pale blue . we all had blue and white fresh flowers in our hair, all flowers where blue and white.   I made the bridesmaid dresses, headdresses and flowers.

Just to show how much my Mum /I/L  loved me   The night before our wedding I was at his home seeing his family from Wales, and my dear M/I/L told them .. if it was up to me he wouldn't be marring her !!!!!!!!! we have been married 43yrs soon so I must be ok for him

In August my friend and hubbie renewed thier vows on a cruise , isn't that lovely

I wore a lovely Nottingham lace 2 piece suit, someone made it for me from an old wedding dress, I got wed on 2nd Sept married 15 years, my decree nici  came on the 2nd Sept strange.

Registry office, navy blue suit, made my own flowers, no bridesmaids and no honeymoon!!

25 years later and still love my hubby and bestest mate

Mine was a Chapel wedding, I wore a grey suit, it was a very windy day my new wife's veil was blowing all over the place and so was my shoulder length hair!

We stayed our first night at a small hotel in Ashbourne and then went to Llandudno for our honeymoon but we cut our honeymoon short because it snowed and we ran out of money. That was 34 years ago and I'm not ashamed to say we are still very much in love.

I wore a long dress with lace frills at the back, and a long vile, i had 4 bridesmaids ( my sisters) they were all in blue, the older two had white hats on, and the younger two had fluffy Bonnette's on and muffs to match. i had pink flowers. It was a lovely day. Did not have a honeymoon. Olive

Which wedding lol ok my wonderful marriage to my Stuart, I wore a lovely dress covered in little diamonte flowers,It was a long dress with a lovely long train, and Stuart wore a kilt ( he isn't scottish, but he wanted an excuse to wear a skirt lol) Stuarts girls where witnesses, my daughter in law was another witness, and my daughter read a verse, and hubbys dad was best man and also read a lovely verse which he cried all the way through, and he cried again when he had to make a speech, it was really nice though. My 2 grandsons gave me away, and they wore kilts, and Stuarts grand daughter was a flower girl dressed in Ivory, the same colour has my dress, and all the other girls wore black and pink. It was one of the best days off my life.

Hi I wore a long ivory dress which was embroided with a long train, I had 4 bridesmaids my 2 nieces,my sister and a friends daughter and they all wore blue.My mum made the 2 smaller bridesmaid dresses. We went on a wonderfull honeymoon to Austria and it is our 21st wedding anniversary on the 10th of September!!
