Hi,
I'm trying to learn something about designing GUIs for audio apps, and so
I'm studying Audacity's (amazing!) interface. With regard to resizing of
waveforms, how exactly does Audacity achieve this? Does it redraw
everything with each resize or simply rescale an image? I'm guessing the
latter, since the former would presumably be more expensive, even with
some sort of caching mechanism (it seems caching is used for scrolling -
is that right?).
Many thanks in advance,
Chris
