WMS layers are not rendered

I'm able to load a WMS. For this I needed to set the proxy. At first all layers are loaded, but then they all get alittle red x and the map is not rendered.

udig displays a message in the bar at the button that layer is not rendered...

How can I get the mapped drawn and the layer data retrieved. Is  this maybe related to that I'm behind a firewall when I retrieve the data?

Maybe you can point me in the right direction...

The instructions on "running udig" tell you how to change the proxy settings:

You are correct that this is because you are behind a firewall.

I've runned udig with the mentioned proxy settings. Now all layers have a little triangle with exclamation mark. Selecting a layer results in "layer not rendered in the bottum bar... The layers are further not drawn in the presentation window...

What's the problem, I looked at the documentation but can't see what I'm doing wrong...

Regards,

Mat.

Hello,

I've had problems like this and they weren't related to proxies.
Sometimes the WMS doesn't support the CRS you're using with your map.
Try to use a different CRS (e.g. EPSG:4326) and make sure you hit the
refresh button.

Is this WMS available to others? If we could connect to this WMS, we
could perhaps find out what the problem is.

Cheers,

Ugo
