to answer your question: I have added a page to the deegree wiki which should explain the use of SLD in GetMap requests. Please have a look at this page: http://wiki.deegree.org/deegreeWiki/HowToUseWMSGetMapRequestsWithSLD Please note: this is not really a deegree specific problem, but rather a general problem of understanding how the OGC specifications of WMS, SLD and FilterEncoding work together. Therefore I suggest you read these relevant OGC specifications to fully understand the background and to find out about other options not covered in the mentioned wiki page. That page can only give one example of a myriad of different possibilities. Another thing I would like to ask. Could you kindly refrain from sending your question to both user and developer list? All questions regarding the use of a deegree service or a deegree feature of some sort are very welcome here on the users list. They do not belong on the developers list, though. And sending your question 2 or 3 times will not speed up getting an answer.
