Voltas (first or second endings)

When I use voltas (first or second endings) and use play mode it will go through the song and play the first volta (first ending) and repeat to the right area but on the repeat it always plays both voltas (first and second endings) instead of just the second volta (second ending). I right clicked on them and hit volta (first or second endings) properties. The first volta's (first ending's) properties are:


Text: 1.

Repeat List: 1


The second volta's (second ending's) properties are:


Text: 2.

Repeat List: 2


I even tried changing the first volta's (first ending's) properties to:


Text: 0.

Repeat List: 0


and the second volta's (second ending's) properties to:


Text: 1.

Reapeat List: 1


But it always plays the first and second volta (first or second ending) on the repeat. What do I do? Please help!

P.S. Sorry if it sounded as if I thought you were dumb by putting [(first and second ending)] stuff everywhere. I just did that I gess Because i just found out they're also called voltas (first and second endings). You see my band teacher just called it a second ending. Thanks for your help in advance!

Two questions:
1)  What revision number of MuseScore are you using?  
2)  Is this volta supposed to go back to the beginning of the score?  If so, try dragging a ||: sign from the barlines pallet to the beginning of the score, right after the clef and signatures.  You can make it invisible if you want.  I believe newer revisions of MuseScore do not require this.

The issue you are experiencing with incorrect playback of voltas is a
known bug in current versions of MuseScore.
