The first release candidate for version 5.6 has been out for
two weeks and is due to become the official version of OVAL on August 28th. I would
like to make sure that you have had the opportunity to review the release
candidate to help ensure that we have the highest quality release that we can
and also ensure that you are not surprised by the contents of the release.

As a reminder when the release becomes official on the 28th
the OVAL Repository will be converted to version 5.6 and the OVAL Interpreter will
be released with support for the new version too.
