The motion chart is a mixture of time machine and components pages. Select the metrics to highlight (up to 4), click on the button "play" and enjoy !

Download [1], copy the JAR file to extensions/plugins/ and restart the server. Screenshot and details in the documentation [2].

Vote open for 72 hours.

It is cool and I think it is the TimeMachine should point to this ;) although the current one is not bad.

I have an idea of another sonar plugin. Should I also show some screenshoot here and rise an open vote here?

Hi Zigzag,
Votes are used to validate releases. You can already develop your plugin in the forge. No needs to ask for it. All ideas of new plugins are welcome. Call a vote when the first version is ready. More details in this page :

I've deployed the plugin on Nemo and got some unexpected behaviors : some projects appears and disappears too often. Need to discuss this issue with you Simon.

We experienced the same on our code, projects appear and disappear as
well. It looks like only differences between builds are used to show
the data. Only when you keep working on a project it stays. When you
stop working on a project it disappears.

Except for this 'bug' the plugin is really nice!

Hi Freddy,

A new version is redeployed [1]. It fixes the problem you mentioned. It also adds the checkbox "components" on the project motion chart.

Are you ready to replace your ugly -1 by a tiny +1 ?

Simon

Here is my '+1' Simon. Good job !

The Motion Chart plugin is now deployed on Nemo and is working pretty well. Performance could be improved but I'll do some profiling when I'll test Sonar 1.12.

Nice, it now works at our project as well. But we found another issue.
When you select 'MAX' period then the play button and the timeline
disappears.

You're right Johan, I've created http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SONARPLUGINS-265.

This problem occurs on project without too much history.
