Why with our high unemployment are we still allowing mass immigration both legal and illegal?  Along with that how can States like California ask the country to bail them out when they have chosen to spend millions on benifits so they can have thier cheap labor?

Those questions cannot be answered by anybody with a sane mind.  For example, about 11 years ago I was living and working in my home town of Springfield, Illinois.  Back then, if you asked me if I was for the amnesty bill put forth by McCain/Kennedy, I would most likely not care enough to vote one way or the other.  Honestly, there were very few illegals in the area.  Foward that to today, and I'll vote down anybody that is pushing that trash.  I'm in Torrance Califorina and can't point you to any number of gangs just in this modest town.  Now go back to 11 years ago and give me the line "they are doing the jobs American's won't do" and I might buy in.  Flash forward: I ask the mechanics, the plumbers, the hair dressers, the painters, the construction workers, the electritians, the landscapers, etc. if they are willing to give up their jobs to people that want jobs just so  they can send the money back to their families in their mother country.  I won't even go into asking the waiters and waitresses, cooks and dish washers, car washers, fast food employees, etc. as people do not understand that they will take any job for any wage.

Shall we talk about crime that comes with this?  For the life of me, I have no clue as to why the Los Angeles City Council is fighting the passage of Jamiel's law.  I'll assume you'll know about it but if you don't, I'll explain.

Great thread!!!!
