Using Version = EiffelStudio 6 (6.5.8.294 GPL Edition - windows) the "Error List" keeps coming undocked even with the Tool, and Editors locked. Same for the stack tool in debugger. This is really annoying.
Suggestion-- I would like to see the layout locked on default. The dockable tools and such are "bells and whistles". Pick a good layout and lock it; if I don't like it I will unlock, change, and relock.
...caveat: all this from someone who liked the old button-hole interface of 3.1 ;)
