Trunk cleanups

Hi all,
I was wondering if it's a good time to remove the legacy modules
from trunk: they don't play any role anymore, right?

Also, main still has a dependency on struts with the GeoServerPlugin
class. I'd say, let's remove both? (this will lead to the removal
of other dependencies as well, such as commons-digester).

Cheers
Andrea

Not a problem:

How about our own legacy module in GeoTools? Any reason to remove it -
or wait for GeoTools 3.0?

I'd say, let's remove them now, before releasing 2.6.0
Cheers
