Today is the deadline for reserving hotel rooms at the government
rate; the deadline for registering for the conference is next week.

Automation Developer Days. This week long conference will be
technical in nature and focus on the development of many different individual
specifications with an emphasis on the Security Content Automation Protocol
(SCAP). There have been a number of areas identified in the current
version of SCAP that need refinement and more emerging standards that need to
be discussed. By bringing together the lead proponents within the
security automation community, we hope to foster a rich and technical
environment that will help to continue to evolve this important work.

There is no attendance fee for this event; however,
participants will be responsible for travel and accommodations. MITRE
will supply coffee and fruit in the morning as well as lunch, drinks, and
snacks during the discussions.
There will be a social on Wednesday night at a nearby
restaurant and a fee to cover the food will be charged. Fees will be
collected the week of the conference.
