Down But Not Out
This past Septos, football star Jason Grisko (#14 of the Alkesh Destroyers) was the victim of a cringe-inspiring tackle that rendered him unconscious for a full five minutes. The officials were about ready to cart Grisko off to the hospital, but the 26 year old came to just as they were picking up the stretcher. After a brief examination, doctors concluded that there was no lasting damage, and the unconscious state was more than likely caused by not only the tackle, but over-exertion. Grisko is set to play this Septos against the Kalikos Rangers.
Auto Manufacturer Announces New Concept Car
Today, the Alkesh Motor Company (AMC) announced their new concept vehicle: The Baron. With a 600 hp V-12 engine and sleek, futuristic designs, AMC is predicting this car to be the future of human mobility. Its handling is far superior to most other vehicles due to its extremely low center of gravity and wide, road-gripping tires. Expected to come out some time later this year, the Baron is marked at 100,000 Marks.
Government Scientists Looking For Volunteers
Government-funded scientists announced today the beginning of a pharmaceutical trial. They are looking for volunteers to take part in the testing of an experimental drug, and are willing to compensate for lost time and wages. Eligible participants must be the ages of 18 and 28, with no history of serious illness, and they must be Human. To apply, head on down to City Hall and request form #115-82.
