The New "Old School" - our pets and stuff.

We're bringing this idea over from the beloved GL board so we can start here to talk about our beloved pets and other animals in our lives.

Well at present time I have four dogs (from the original 8) Ozzie, Sydney, Gabby and Harley! Oz is the oldest and he is keeping us up at nights right now. He's going senile

it's ususally one or more of our cats that keep us up....
we have seven... we originally had 10 but we gain and loose a few as they age.  Right now there is Shadow (who is as old as Methusala and doesnt plan on kicking the bucket any time soon!), Soleil, Bageera, Suki Yoo, Oosh MaGoogh (Olivia) Willy T., and our newest big orangie called General Lee! (no I did not name him!)

They all live in our house... and yes... it takes a lot of care but I wouldn't trade them in for anything.

I'm so sorry about your Oz.

You have a lot of pets, wow.  I love animals, I just don't have the money to care for more than Tiger, our cat, right now.  Someday though we need a dog too.  The girls have wanted one forever!

Thanks! He is such a furball. With as much hair that I vacuum up daily, you'd think he would be bald..LOL  

 Love the pics of your babies too!  Tally looks like a queen....LOL I couldn't imagine feeding 4 dogs....one cat is eating me out of house and home..LOL

We really don't have alot of hair from the two Chows even though they have 3 layers of coat.  The one that sheds terribly is Talley!  I think I told you before that they not only eat Iams but they also get cooked for every night.  I know SPOILED!

I do remember you telling me that about cooking for your dogs..LOL  Patches only likes certain kinds of canned food and will only eat dry food if it's absolutely necessary.  He "mooches" off of us when we're eating.  He will just sit and stare at you until you give in and give him some of whatever we're having....LOL   He loves pepperoni, cheese popcorn and potato chips for snacks.

LOL!  I can see the pepperoni ......but popcorn and potato chips!  How old is Patches?

It has to be cheese popcorn...he doesn't like plain...LOL  I'm not positive how old he is. He actually belonged to my son and his ex girlfriend. When they split he got the cat..she got everything else.  A friend gave him to them (he'd already been fixed and declawed at that point) and I think he was a couple years old at the time. My son had him for a year or two when he moved back home 3 yrs. ago....our son moved back out last fall but the cat stayed..LOL  But my guess would be 5-6 yrs old at least.

LOL!  Thats pretty much how it was even though they weren't married..LOL  He was with her for 8 yrs...supported and helped raise her two kids since both of their dads were worthless pieces of crap. Oh did I mention..he also got all the bills in the end that he had to pay off.

Lol, ack!  I was only thinking of the happy aspects of all the fur for it's cuddliness!  But I bet it really is a job to clean up, too!  I just have one cat and especially during shedding season, it's EVERYWHERE!  I see it floating before my eyes sometimes!

LOL!  Silly kitty!  Generally, Tiger doesn't beg much, and even when we give him a little, he doesn't eat much.  However, if the girls leave a little bowl of Goldfish crackers laying around, he is all over that and munching them down, lol!!
