Dear Sirs,
Thank you so much for providing this forum.  It is a welcome sight in light of the developments in our country.  This is a great way to hear a variety of ideas on what is needed to take the party forward.  I enjoyed seeing you on Bill O'Reilly's show.  You articulate good economic policies and plans so well.  Why don't you run for president in 2012?  Your economic plan sounds fabulous, and it would fix so many of our economic ills!

I to would like to see Newt run in 2012. He is the perfect Reagan conservative. Yep Newt will run right after he takes the lead of the RNC!

Lets worry about 2010 and any state elections in between.  That is where we build up the conservative credability again.

Wally and Qury you both make very good points.  We have a conservative running against Barbara Boxer for the Senate in two years.  WE need to start now in CA getting his message out.  Also, I've been speaking with young people, teens coming into voting age, one on one that are conservative. They don't know how to get their points across.

What I do is give them specific examples of what they can say to their peers.  I give them names, the party, the legislation, and how they and the legislation is impacting their lives now and in the future.  When you spoon feed the information they say WOW.  Then what we do is make sure that they have FACTS.  It must be verifiable.  The young are so entertainment oriented that their candidate must be nice looking.  Sorry to say it but they must.  Someone like Jindal who is articulate and someone who has gotten the job done, even against her own party, like Palin is what the young people are looking for.

We need to stop the "this administration" hype.  We need to teach them the generational build up to the problems they have here and who caused them.  We need to get them out of the "this administration" mindset.  We need photos, party, and bills that have impacted them, such as the section in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bailout that mandates on every new mortgage a $420 fee is placed on every $100,000 of the mortgage and given to organizations like ACORN.

Give the young people that information that the Democrats slipped that into the legislation.  Make sure they know that Pelosi, Barney Franks, and the House banking committee could have stopped the economic crisis if they had regulated Fannie and Freddie like Republicans tried to to.  KEEP GIVING THEM SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR AMMUNITION against the slogans, sound bites, etc.

Our young people have become sound bite and slogan voters, as attested in this last election. Start teaching your children in a very nonchalant way with BBQ's with their friends etc on FACTS. We can do it.

PLease tell me that you are posting about DeVore and not Gov. Arnold running against Boxer.  I heard the rumor that Arnold was thinking about running and I can't stand RINO'S any longer.  I was sitting here watching the local news and the lovefest put on between Arnold and Mayor V. was enough to make me hurl.

Yes John I'm talking about DeVore.    I got an email from him today.  They are at the point of gathering staff and funds.  They will expand as soon as possible.  This guy is worthy of our time, our feet on the ground, and funds.   I'm with you NO to Arnold. PERIOD.  Of course Boxer will have huge money behind her.  I am, however, very heartened by the victory in Utah by Chaffetz.  A young guy who was out spent 7 to 1 and yet a grass roots group and him with his own feet on the ground pulled it off.  He defeated the Repub incumbent by a large percentage and did the same in the general election.

Chuck DeVore is fiscally conservative, conservative on immigration issues, and is willing to take on the liberal agenda head on.

Thanks American Patriot.  I read over his site, saw one issue that he backed, then gladly joined.  I'll be spreading the information around as well.

Great to hear John.  Spread the word he's going to need a lot of financial help.  Even if you can't put boots on the ground in CA you can help.  Did you see Obama's job application that Senator Jim DeMint outed today.  Question #59 is asking about gun ownership.  Ya, this guy is dangerous to be sure.

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Yes, once I saw that he’s a friend of Taiwan, I spread the word fast and some cash will flow from that stance alone.  I didn’t see the new application that went out today as I need to concentrate on some shipments in the Gulf of Aden.  Crazy stuff going on there.
