Thank you for the wonderful support with the "meals on
wheels" I have been getting. It has been a very emotionally
uplifting experience to receive all this support and affection from my
community of friends and co-conspirators. I don't think I will need any
further assistance after I am released from the hospital. When I get back
from the University of Utah Hospital where I will be for "eight days"
according to Dr. Mulvihill the pancreas god - which I estimate to be somewhere
around 24 October - I will have eldest daughter Cappie the RN driving me home and
staying with me for a bit, and then sister-in-law Wanda coming to stay with me
when Cappie goes back to teaching nursing at Northern New Mexico College, so I
will have household help providing food service for both themselves and me
until I am able to drive to the grocery store and sling my own hash. -Lance
