I've been a sub on the only route in my po for about 4 years. I just made my Year as an rca in sept. Last year the route got cut to an H but have been making about 20 hrs. a week working in other po's sorting mail and doing aux routes. My regular has been trying to get an aux route out of a neighboring office with only that route in their po to add on to our route. She said they are finally going to redo them and add some to ours and put the remaining of the aux route in our office. My question is can the rca who does the aux route in the other office come in and take my place as the sub. She was my regular's sub before she took the aux route.
as long as you are the sub of record for the route she can not bump you. if she took the 6 day aux route and it is disloved she is out of luck. hope this helps
there is no bumping when it comes to routes.
Our office is in the process of hiring a TRC to sub on a J route. Our PM said that the TRC will not make RCA for quite a while (possibly 2 years). I carry an AUX 6 days a week. I am the senior RCA.
My question is in regards to the rights of the TRC. If anything happens to my AUX route (dissolved) does the TRC sub have priority over me if I need to go back to subbing?
Thanks
TRC's basically have no rights. If your AUX route gets disolved, and you have to go back to subbing for a primary route, and there are no vacant routes, the TRC would then be terminated.
as long as their is still a sub opening for you to go to , make sure that all routes are not covered by an rca , they must leave one route sub a trc , in case your route gets dissolved their will be an opening for you to go to , you cant bump another rca you will have to wait for rca opening to get back on a route
