Hey Zaudy.

I finally have a picture our latest addition to the family.  Seamus O'Reilly. Meade just calls him Peanut. LOL!
It's been touch and go with him this week. The meds he is on for his heart hasn't helped him much. They gave us some Vetmedin...its the last resort. I know its expensive but I really want this guy to get a fighting chance. It really worked for Ozzie...I am sure it gave him an extra 2-3 years of quality life.When I looked at the bill and saw that they hadn't charged me for it, I asked what gives. Once of the techs came over and put her arm around my shoulders and said it was a little gift....from me to me. My mouth just dropped. I had donated a full bottle of it back to the clinic when Ozzie past away... a year ago... and  here it was coming back around.... so what do you think of that eh?

Thanks Zaudy- had beautiful weather the whole weekend.  Got back around 2:00 yesterday afternoon.  Had a GREAT time!

LOL!  This was taken from the room that I always stay in at sunrise. The weather was just perfect.  Was high 70's on Friday in the low 80's on Saturday.  Got some sun and lot's of beer!  LOL!

Wow!  I would say "Pay it Forward".  That's awesome that they did that.  And it's awesome that you are giving this guy a chance.  He looks happy and better than what I thought he would.  You are a great person Rew!  Good luck little guy!

Funny thing though K.S.

Paying it forward in this case... I benefited from of my own act of kindness...lol! We go this morning to see how the little guy is doing. He has his good days, he has his bad, but I see an overall improvement over how he was last week.  If he can lay down on a couch a do a wiggle worm, he must be happy, right? The day he just lays there and looks at me... then I will know.

That's the point of pay it forward.  Good karma comes back.  He looks very happy in the picture.  How did the vet visit go this morning?  I hope good.

No actually we had to put Seamus to sleep. I wanted to wait till Meade could be with me but he up north till late tonight. The meds weren't working and his lungs were full of liquid. They figure he may have had bronchitis as well. He couldn't have taken the prednizone for the bronch because it would have killed him because of his heart.  He was apparently is some pain. He just didn't show us how much. He always wagged his tail for us.  I am going to miss him as much as I have ever missed any of my wonderful furry family members.

I was so afraid of that for you- I sure didn't want you to take another heart hit so soon.  I just can't say how sad I am about this.  Will Meade be home shortly?  I hope!

I'm sorry Rew...but I'm happy he had you to love and take care of him these past 3 weeks...he was in very good hands! and I'm sure he loved you for that.
