Jennie Sherwood is still looking for info on Steve Clements & Ted Beresford
She would love any Pictures,Posters & Stories if you are willing to let her have copies
There is a picture she would love to get a hold of Steve outside the Royal Albert Hall holding three belts
She has been given and old belt belonging to Steve  which she is going to let people have a look at
as the Heritage readers will know Steve died at an early age in a car accident
reading through my files It is strange to see how many Wrestlers were in car accidents
I was sad to hear that my friend Wrestler & Promoter Terry Goodram died in an accident
Please post anything you have on the Heritage site for Jennie

I have just had an email regarding the Belt that Jennie Sherwood has, a Mr Ian Foster asks could it be the Relwyskow Silver Belt from the 60s He said there were atleast two belts maybe more a Gold and a Silver
This would fit as Jennie is still trying to find a Picture of Steve Clements outside the Royal Albert Hall with three belts.
I have wrote back to Mr Foster asking if he has any Pictures or infomation could he post on the Heritage site to share with all our Wrestling Friends.  Also Jennie is still looking for more information on Steve Clemments and Ted Beresford  so if anyone has any could the please post on the Heritage site

There was a GFW DeRelwyskow competition held at belle Vue in the sixties (maybe Eddie Rose can tell us more). Was there a belt involved? Does anyone have a photo of it?

Hello Jennie,
Tony Kelly here, many many years with Joint Promotions. I am one of the organizers of the Rothwell reunion. I can assure you that Anne Relwyskow still has her grand fathers belt and I know that my friend and co organizer has the other belt that Steve won in the states. I think if my memory serves me correctly the belt that you have is the belt that the late Steve won in Mexico city in front of 46,000 people.I will have to speak to Steve Fury I will be with him next week as I am going over to the UK for the reunion and I will have to go through my archive of material I am sure that we have a photograph of Steve at the Royal Albert Hall with the three belts. You can email me and we can sort matters out better that way, my email is: kellytony99@eircom.net I am sure that I have footage of Steve with the late Alan Dennison and Les Kellet at Alan house in Yorkshire.
Ok Jennie get in touch.
All the best.
Tony Kelly.

i can tell you that the belt jennie has belonged to a wrestler named tom rose he was the all in lightweight champion from 1991 through to 1919 when he fell on hard times he sadly sold his belt to norman morrell and ted beresford who used it with wrestlers on there shows untill the mount evans belts were made then of corse they were used by all of the joint promotions champions from then on hope this clears up the mystery of this belt

Hi Steve.  Thanks for your message re the belt.  I look forward to meeting you and Tony on 8 August.  In the meantime, because its not really Ted's belt, can you put your thinking cap on and let me know when I see you of any museums that might be interested in buying it off me.  I really think Im going to try and sell it now.  Also, when we meet, can you let me know the museum in America that has Steve's belt.  Thanks.  See you soon.
