Right, I can certainly look into that. I'm most inclined to produce
another PPA, as that's what the apt architecture was designed for.
However, if folks don't want that, and just want the website to host
the debs (and, necessarily, any other required or updated
dependencies), then I'm fine with that too. That latter case, as a
consequent of the lack of automation, would naturally require more
effort on my part, and on the part of the user; regardless of how
atechnically simple it may at first seem.

I think if this is the easiest solution, then it will work fine. A PPA
might not be the absolute most easy way to get software on an
Ubuntu/Linux system, but as long as there are clear instructions and a
helpful community, I think it'll be great!
