Spring MB Reunion- May 2010 Cabin voting

Buslady and I have done much searching for a site.  We think we have found one in Canaan Valley, WV.  We have narrowed it down to 5 cabins, depending on how many want to attend.  This time the prices will be based on beds rather than per person.  In otherwords, a king bedroom will be this price.  A Queen bedroom will be.....a twin bed will be.....a bunk will be....etc.

Here is some information on the area.  It is located in Tucker County, WV.  The closet town is Davis, WV.

Washington, DC- Davis, WV   4 hours   -175 miles
Indianapolis, IN - Davis, WV  8 hours  - 457 miles
Savannah, GA- Davis, WV  10 1/2 hours -644 miles
Tampa, FL - Davis, WV  15 1/2 hours - 973 miles

As usual, the Florida people can re-group at my house and anyone who wants, can ride with me.  We will be picking up Dixie again.

Closest airport to Davis, WV is: Elkins-Randolph Co. Airport with a 1 hour drive to the various cabins.

The tentative dates are May 13th-May 16th or May 20th- May 23rd or we can do Memorial Day weekend.  Please give us some feedback on this.

I'm down with Memorial Day weekend. I'm already taking off work a week in April to go on a family vacation to Vegas so I don't want to take too much time off. I don't want to prevent other people from going on their vacations either.

Memorial Day will work out good for me too.  An extra day to make the drive.

Any of those weekends would be good for us....Memorial Day would work out great...would we do it Friday, Sat, Sun nights and leave on Monday?  Since these places in WV have lower rates in the summer than in the winter....even after school's out in June would be good if that works better for everyone else??

Memorial weekend? The hubby gave me the go ahead.  He said it sounded like a good time and I should do it! I think once xmas comes and goes I can start saving. WV is a day away for me, I think I've mentioned how much I enjoy road trips...give me a tank of gas, road map, some cash and a cooler of munchies....and I am off!!!!!   So now I just have to check and see if he can handle the kids sports while I am away...I believe I will be in. PSYCHE!!  I finally get to meet all of you!!!  I am excited....not as excited as Rew...at least not all the jumping smileys excited...I kinda feel that way on the inside, I just don't have energy to post them all.....HHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
