For archive purposes I have decided to save a version of SparkIV GTAIV editing tool that works perfectly to edit GTAIV version 1.0.0.4 and below! This version of SparkIV works with the latest patch for GTAIV 1.0.0.4 and allows model mods online. This in my opinion is the best version to use! GTA For Life will be some where safe for this file to live without fear of it being deleted by moderators over at the www.gtaforums.com. To mod GTAIV you need this tool and a version of GTAIV 1.0.0.4 or lower to add mods to your game!

To cover my ass with Rockstar a cryptographic encryption key is required for running SparkIV. For legal reasons (DMCA/EUCD/etc), this key is not included in SparkIV but rather extracted from GTAIV.exe on startup. So, you will need a supported version of GTAIV installed, or have a GTAIV.exe placed in the same directory as SparkIV.

After further testing it seems that this version or SparkIV1.0.0.4 only allows model and texture mods online, so if you wanna use any other types of mods you can but you will not be able to access multiplayer because you need to rename your filelist.pak file to filelist.pak2 to get data changes to take effect which stops you from playing online! So keep a backup of your unmodded 1.0.0.4 version of the game for when you do wanna play online if you use mods that edit things other than textures or models!

Also I have renamed SparkIV to SparkIV1.0.0.4 to avoid confusion and I wanted to point out that SparkIV was created by Aru yet he has not had an official update in 3 patches so I would like to thank Gamerzworld for making SparkIV work with GTAIV 1.0.3.0 and 1.0.4.0. and now 1.0.0.4!
