South Asians @ APADRC
Hey readers of South Asian Web,
Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center is nonprofit organization that provides mediation and conflict resolution services to the diverse communities in the Los Angeles area, with a focus on the Asian Pacific Islander Population. Recently, APADRC got a new grant to work with the South Asian Population by recruiting South Asian interns who can do outreach work in the community and handle cases that require language assistance in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, and other South Asian languages. At the APADRC, our mediation center offers its mediation services regarding neighbor-neighbor conflicts, landlord-tenant disputes, family disputes, and professional conflicts etc. The APADRC is an organization that is dedicated to serving our community to help people bring about some peace in their lives through mediation. Furthermore, mediation is a voluntary process and mediators are neutral, and keep your information confidential. With the combination of neutrality and well-defined positions from parties in conflict, we move towards greater understanding and resolution. Also, our center provides referrals to other organizations, as we have built partnerships in the community. We strive to improve human relations and race relations by addressing complex, cross cultural community conflicts and their root causes with community partners through education, training, and development of new models and techniques. APADRC looks toward the future by training new interns, working with the community, and youth and helping mediate conflicts on grassroots community level! We hope that you (the readers :) will spread the word about our center, and won't hesitate to contact us @ 213-250-8190 or crs@apadrc.org Thank you! Best regards~ Hala M. http://www.apadrc.org |
