Sound lag

Hi, i'm new here and i only need to know what i can do to fix a lagging sound problem on some movies, the AVI is ok  but after converting with ConvertoDVD or even with Divx converter, the sound lags?
PS: I was successful once with Divx converter but not with any other converter.....

If your ripping them try using FairUse Wizard 2 hasn't let me down where others have.

If it has been ripped by someone else try using VLC as it allows you to delay or speed up the sound under Adjustments and Effects - Synchronizations

I uploaded spiderman 2, but I don't have sound..... (vuze)

I use quicktime usualy, but it doesn't work with other type of readers...

I am on Mac, I would like to know what I have to install to hear the movies ?
