| Subject: [Audacity-help] Sound cutting out
| While listening to albums through Audacity on my ION turntable with
| "monitor input" selected, the music will play for a time through my
| sound system, then the sound cuts out and the right input bar freezes.

| on the microphone arrow and shut off monitor input then click it again,
| the sound comes back on for a minute or two then cuts off again. I'm

No, it is a common problem with USB turntables, probably caused by a loose
or defective USB cable. Try reinserting the cable tightly at both ends or use a
different cable not supplied by Ion. Please read all of our help page on USB
