Discussions on going for On The Clock versus Evaluated

Arbitration underway on changes made to PO 603.

Will be going into contract discussions very soon.

Will be looking into an alternative representative time to count. Suggest using data from all year since so many items are now documented. Then get an average for that.

Over 900 grievances appealed to Step 3 and doesn't include Mail Count Grievances. Estimate close to 1,400 Step 3 grievances in 2009.
Currently 189 are going into arbitration.

Any City encroachment on to rural territory carriers should notify respective State Stewards.

PT, thanks much for keeping us updated. You'd think the ASSn would want to do something like that for all its members - NOT!!!!!!

Anyhow, I did notice they validated my EMA figure (with an assist from RogerR) at 54 cents. Now let's see how long it takes for the "official" news to hit the NRLCA's "What's Old" site.

The figures for the H J & K routes post-count are eye-opening. I'd like to see an analysis of the loss like what Hierofont did for the 2008 count.

I copied Hierfont's 2008 count table and tried to duplicate it for 2009 with the figures from PT's post. Note the aux route figures weren't given:

Thank you Mano for putting these figures together...  These numbers show the damage that has
been done to our craft in just the last couple of years....  In two years 26k carriers lost their K
routes...  That is crazy...  If these numbers dont jump off the page and slap you in the face and
piss you off then you are NOT paying attention......
