Dear Mr. Thomas,
My name is SGT Daniel Thomas, US Army (Military Police), and I am a father to three children. My youngest, my son, Malachi, is becoming a huge Cubs fan, and quite a good player (if I say so myself). I am sorry for dragging on; let me get to the point. I have tried to instill in my son the importance of social responsibility and I have used you as my main example. My son is trying very hard to be a good person, “just like Frank Thomas, the REAL one!,” as he loves to say. My son saved his allowance for two months and instead of buying your autographed baseball jersey he found, he donated all of it to the Knights of Columbus. I am very proud of him, but I feel bad because he really wanted your autograph. He is only three years old and he makes really RESPONSIBLE decisions and I was hoping you could help me get him the autograph he so desperately wants, to show him that his kindness isn’t being over looked.
Thank you so much and God Bless You,
SGT Thomas, D.
