I am having trouble editing the Status field for a Registrant in SignupSheet version 3.1.  If I create the SignupSheet as Administrator, I can edit a Registrant's status from 'Waiting List' to 'Registered'.  However, if someone else with Manager role creates the SignupSheet neither they nor I can edit the field.  There is no error, but the edit never takes effect. I have tried to explicitly change permissions in the ZMI security tab as well as the folder Sharing tab with no luck.  I cannot recognize anything in the workflow that is relevant.  Editing of other fields does not seem to be a problem.  And the due to deletion of a previous registrant, the number of registrants does not exceed the limit (again, it seems that if I am the creator and sole editor of the Signup sheet all works ok).  Any ideas where I can look to fix this?

Hello

I have just added a test/develop site with SignupSheet.
I have added a user with manager rights
As far as I can see, everything is working OK.

If its of any relecance, I have installed

  • If you are stuck, I could give you a user/password to the site.

    Sorry for the other mail.
The old-style "Product" was still present on the instance , so it looks like the latest version (eggs=) isnt installed.
I will upgrade and see what happens

I think you are wrong regarding the version number.

Is there a 3.1 version out there, or do you mean plone 3.1 ?

The newest version I can find is 0.4.2.2 which is now on my site and working great.

You probably should upgrade signupsheet to 0.4.2.2

I have had some strange problems on earlier version (like not beeing able to change the "reply text".)
    Latest version looks great, though

    Espen,

These are the versions I have installed on Plone 3.2.2.

     http://plone.org/products/signupsheet/releases/0.3.1

It did not occur to me that another product might conflict (some namespace issue?).  Maybe I can try to install on a test server with no other 3rd party products and see if the problem occurs there.  It is odd that it is only when you try to edit the one field, Status that I have the problem.  The manager can edit all the other field just fine.
