Scanning performance

Is metc currently capable of scanning the entire market?  On what kind of infrastructure?

 

Is metc currently capable of backtesting?  Running historical ticks for entire market to simulate a trade day?

This forum doesn't seem to get a lot of replies....
It's very confusing -- there's this "nabble" forum, and there's the "Community" forums on the marketcetera.org main page.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
