Hurray.....In the WEST we see Riskcover have been made to cough up the details and stats re: Workplace Stress/Bullying in schools. Det's response is : "This is a concern to the dept." No mention from Margery Evans about accountability....or what DET is going to do to lessen the problem. Funny....... where is ZERO tolerance on Workplace Bullying from DET???? If I was running a Dept that had its Insurer forced to pay out $12.3 m in a year for 1555 workers in claims I would have thought SOMETHING or SOMEONE or SOME PEOPLE should be made accountable or put under the microscope...... I find it absolutley amazing that Taxpayers' dollars simply continue to grow on trees. How much money is Riskcover paying out to compensate workers from other Govt depts like health, policing etc. This $12.3m is just the tip of the iceberg.
Check out today's WEST p24 "We want JUSTICE." The teacher quoted, says no money could ever bring him/her justice, but at least he /she has their integrity.
