Hi devs
I have not installed the last testing, but stayed with my unstable.
When I opkg update and openupgrade, I had some messages complaining about e.g.
* Package shr-contacts wants to install file /usr/share/applications/openmoko-contacts.desktop
But that file is already provided by package * openmoko-contacts3
* Package shr-contacts wants to install file /usr/bin/openmoko-contacts
But that file is already provided by package * openmoko-contacts3
So I just did a
opkg remove -force-depends openmoko-contacts3 to clean my installation. Then I ran an
opkg install shr-contactswhich installed me an "openmoko-contacts" and not as expected a "shr-contacts" :
root@om-gta02 ~ $ opkg install shr-contacts
Installing shr-contacts (0.0.1-r5) to root...
Downloading http://shr.bearstech.com/shr-unstable/ipk//armv4t/shr-contacts_0.0.1-r5_armv4t.ipk
Configuring shr-contactsIt seems like the name of the package is "shr-contacts", but the binary file and the /usr/share/applications file are still called openmoko-something.
Have I done something wrong, or is it just because I am too impatient ;) and your are in the process of renamming the openmoko-things to shr-things ?
E.G, I still have problems with the opkg upgrade now :
root@om-gta02 ~ $ opkg upgrade
Upgrading task-shr-minimal-apps on root from 2.0-r2 to 2.0-r3...
Downloading http://shr.bearstech.com/shr-unstable/ipk//all/task-shr-minimal-apps_2.0-r3_all.ipk
The pkg openmoko-dialer3 had been removed!!
The pkg openmoko-messages3 had been removed!!
The pkg openmoko-contacts3 had been removed!!
