MANUAL OR DOCUMENT YOU WANT TO CHANGE. LEAVE BLANK IF NONE OR YOU ARE NOT SURE P.O. 603 section 541.2 a,b,c
YOUR IDEA OR CHANGE Be it resolved : that route adjustments be made by actually counting each piece of mail as it was counted or ruled upon during the previous count. The current formula is to be used ONLY as a guideline and NOT the deciding factor as to how much territory will be added to or subtracted from any rural route.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT A rural route, in all fairness, should be adjusted the same way as it is during a mail count. Each piece is counted. So, why rely or depend upon a "formula" that is all too often inaccurate at best. A route should be "cut" the same way it is counted. THE SAME WAY. Many times, a route adjustment is in reality, a pay adjustment. In the interest of fairness, let us cut a route, add territory to a route, or otherwise adjust a route in the same fashion as during a count.
