Room for Rent in a Beautiful Plateau Apartment

Hello Friends*,

I recently found an apartment for the year with two girls, but one has
decided to move out and we're looking for somebody to fill her spot.
Ideally we would like a female who will stay for at least a year.

You probably know me, but my roommate-to-be Cecile is from Reunion
Island (so, naturally, bilingual) and studying philosophy (at the
graduate level I believe). I've only video-chatted with her briefly,
but she seems to be a relaxed and thoughtful girl. She has lived in
the apartment for a year and has specified that she's looking for
someone 'committed who wants to make the place feel like theirs'.

The apartment is a fully furnished by the owners. The furniture and
appliances adhere to a somewhat modern aesthetic. The appliances are
all new: fridge, amazing gas stove, washer, dryer, and dishwasher. We
share a patio-esque back yard with the downstairs neighbors (including
a pond – bring fish). The design and construction is high quality
(includes decorative molding), the living room and kitchen are bright
and comfortable, and the decor is tasteful. It is a truly exceptional
apartment in one of the best locations in Montreal.

The room is 8.5' x 11' and comes with a twin bed, shelves, and has a
closet. Rent is $535 + utilities.
