Hi all,

This doc (http://plone.org/documentation/tutorial/how-to-upload-your-package-to-plone.org/) has
already been published, but I'm looking for general comments/criticism of it
(*looks at Joanna*). Once it gets the 'ok' from you guys (and once the "final blocker" is fixed
https://dev.plone.org//plone.org/ticket/1305) I am going to pimp the new plone.org/products
features (i.e. ask Jon Stahl to do a news item).

Thanks,

Alex

Make sure you incorporate all the comments into the doc and make sure
they are addressed. If reST is still causing a problem, you'll need to
present a solution for that.

Wilkes, can you review this and make sure it's technically accurate?

It would be good to incorporate adding a issue tracker into the
tutorial if only to remind people to do it.

It would also be good to talk about how to insert images. I'm not 100%
if I do that via rst or via plone or if rst, how to do it.

Might also be good to talk about the review process so those who go
through the process don't wonder why their newly uploaded product
isn't immediately live.

BTW I have an issue with POI I installed on one of my products. It
doesn't give me permission to change the state of issues. Where do I
submit that issue?

This is with an issue tracker that you added to one of your products
on plone.org, right?

The way to change the state of a Poi issue is not via Plone's usual
review state drop down menu, but by adding a response.

Other than that: you need to have Manager rights on the issue tracker,
which van be given on the edit form of the tracker.

If that does not put you on the right track, add a bug report here and
I'll see what I can do:

yep. Do drop down to change state on the response form.

I'm added as a manager on the edit form.

Hi Dylan,

Thanks for the feedback!

Well, this is not really a general help doc for PSC, although that
may be needed as well. This document answers the question "How do I use
the new PyPI-like features on plone.org."

I see Maurits answered, but in general:

If it belongs somewhere else, you'll probably hear about it ;-)
