I am trying to build an application using Perl that loads a geotiff and allows the user to zoom, pan and add waypoints to the plot. The problem I am running into is that Gtk2::Pixbuf will not load in geotiffs that are 32 bits only 24 or less. So there for I want to resample the tiff down to 24. Is there an easy way to do this? I got the geotiff at the USGS seamless server.
