Folks,
We are looking for people who are a) making concrete
plans on implementing CPE in their products or services
in some way and b) would be willing to discuss the
details of their plans with us.
Obviously, MITRE would maintain the strictest of
confidentiality with respect to the details of your
plans and would be happy to enter into a formal NDA
with respect to such discussions.
As we discussed at the last CPE Developer Days event,
it would be useful for us to document generalized
technical use cases for CPE usages. These specific
interviews would allow us to document these generalized
use cases and share them with the CPE community.
So, while the specifics of any interview would be
held in confidence, our hope would be to produce a
document that describes generalized best practices
relative to CPE usage. This document would be something
similar in spirit to the CVE and OVAL "Compatability
Requirements" documents (which are being phased out).
