To remove it only for anonymous visitors, you can go to Site
Setup->Security and disable "".
If you want to remove it for all users, you can go to
http://path/to/plone/@@manage-viewlets and hide the
"plone.belowcontenttitle.documentbyline" viewlet
If you write an add on package for plone that configures your site you
can do that in profiles/defaults/viewlets.xml . There's much
documentation on plone.org about this.
