A friendly reminder for everyone: the deadline for proposing PLIPs for
Plone 3.3 is October 5. That means you only have a week to write your
proposal and submit it! Please note that at this point we will only
review the proposal itself, there is no requirement to write any code
for at this stage. The criteria are correct technical design, correct
user interface design, and the need merge the PLIP in core instead of
maintaining or maturing it as an add-on.
If you submit a PLIP after that date you may attempt to bribe the
framework team personally to review it on time (I gather tax-free
alcohol purchases on your way to the conference may help), but there are
no guarantees that that will work.
The review deadline for the framework team October 20.
