Related Project - SchoolTool

There is a similar 4-7yr old project with some similar goals to the
Plone4Edu initiative called SchoolTool, www.schooltool.org.  It is
currently being developed under Zope 3 and is geared towards school
administration and as I understand it currently towards grade schools. I
am familiar with this project only in passing from a talk given by the
current project manager Tom Hoffman.

I would highly recommend that someone within the core Plone4Edu dev team
talk with Tom about their work.  Contact information can be found at the
