Are you following the instructions for building QuickFIX from
http://www.marketcetera.org/confluence/display/MDN/Build+Quickfix#BuildQuickfix-WindowsBuild?
You need to install MSXML manually from Microsoft. It seems that they
are on version 6 at this point:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=993c0bcf-3bcf-4009-be21-27e85e1857b1&displaylang=enYou need to install Ruby separately - and then point Visual Studio to
it like it says in the instructions.
Let me know if that doesn't make sense
