I don't know this architecture, can you please tell some data about  
it, e.g. 32bit/64bit/??bit, with or without FPU?

Which makefile (we have more than one)? Please specify the complete  
name of it. And which changes?

It depends. If there's some kind of POSIX compatible operating system  
running on it, you should use configure instead. If you cross-compile,  
you need to have a look at Makefile.unix. In the later case you need  
to create a config.h and define HAVE_CONFIG_H with a compiler switch  
for all C files.
