We made our own press release yet some weeks ago. (http://www.zope.de/redaktion/dzug/nachrichten/world-plone-day-2009-bringt-schulen-ins-netz 
)

I must say that many efforts people did, came too late, which is very  
sad, because a lot of effort was invested in this work. E.g. we used  
the wpd-skin from last year on www.worldploneday.de, the new one came  
many weeks too late.

For the next year we must have a better timeline.
