That package should be fixed in debianGIS to be in the next ubuntu
release. But it would be nice if someone would make the fix for
debianGIS and modify it for the ubuntuGIS PPA.

Thanks
Alan

I do not have evidence of *anyone* using thuban nowadays: is it really
worth the while to keep on maintaining it? I suggest concentrating
efforts on more important sowftare (eg qgis, which is still out of main).
All the best.

Here is an evidence ;-) I am using Thuban and I try to maintain the
trunk to support the evolution of dependencies. I do not know how heavy
is the maintenance of the Thuban debian package but I would be happy to
help if needed.

Sorry, I didn't know. I would be interested if you could let me know
more about why and how you work with it. You can write me in private,
not to clutter the list.
All the best.

Of course you are welcome on that. Note that current version is 1.2.1
in sid.

FYI upstream trunk supports wx 2.8 if needed.

Ah nice, it's perfect for testing in experimental, where we could also have some trial
with python 2.6

I will try to update the actual debian package and provide a diff/patch.
