Subject: [Statsvn-users] Problem generate stats
Hi guys.
When I'm trying to generate de stats I get this error
Parsing SVN log './svn.log' exclude pattern 'null'
Logfile parsing failed.
svn log: svn info: XML document structures must start and end within the
same entity.
Any idea about that?
Regards
Alejandro
Hi Alejandro, I'm not sure what's going on with gmail's handling of
mailing lists, your message was approved to be forwarded to the list
but I never got the actual message delivered. So I'm pasting out of the
moderation email.
I'm not sure what the problem you're seeing here is, but I can shed a bit of light on what seems to be happening and maybe that'll give you clues depending on your system configuration. This error isn't being thrown while parsing your svn.log file, which seems to get accessed OK. What's going on, rather, is that statsvn is invoking an "svn info --xml" command on a file in your project, and it's failing to parse the output of "svn info" that's returned. If for some reason, svn info is spitting out an error instead of XML, it might get this SAXException.
Can you make sure that the first version of "svn" in the PATH for the shell instance where you're starting statsvn is version 1.3+ ? Can you make sure you're able to run "svn info --xml SOMEFILE" on a file in your project, without it prompting you for more credentials?
