I don't know of anybody using a 3rd-party of ActiveX feed with Photon yet.
Currently, we have adapters for Activ and OpenTick.
If you go about implementing your own, you need to look at the Javadoc
for the org.marketcetera.core.marketdata package:

see the implementation of the market data in Photon for how to use it:
