When we leave we have to scan the door for our truck mialage And we also do this when we return, Do we get two credits for the scans or are they partof the scanner credit? I remember when we first got our scanners we didn't do this function it came later on that is why I wonder if maybe we are missing out on these two scan credits each day? thank-you.

It's built into your vehicle time. We used to have to write down mileage and times. Now we just scan.

You should be scanning out while they are timing you when you load though.  The scans are built in, but the time to do they are column 17 time.

I have been using the Excel Mail Count Calculator that I found on here with Pay Evaluation and I haven't gotten the last 2 days of information to add to it but, it is adding up the figures saying that I input 23 days of info and I only input 22 days.  Why would the the evaluation say 23 instead of 22 as this will make my totals go down.  I won't have the last two days till Monday and I would like to see what's going on with this calculator.  I haven't added any figures at all for the 13th and 14th.   Would appreciate any advise.

Check that you don't have letters entered in one of those days. The letter entries trigger the change in number of days.

There is no letters, numbers or any type of marks for the 13th and 14th.  Not sure what else I could do.  Thanks for answering so quickly.

You can manually change the number of days in the cell to 22. If the cell is protected, the password is rural.

I was just rechecking my numbers. Had been right between a 43K and a 44K. Now today the same numbers say 35H! What changed? I had been having no trouble with the calculator until this point. Also one question. Parcels. Do they get counted as both a parcel and a non-signature scan?

You need to check your entries. Something is wrong. Parcels would only be added in that column if they had a delivery confirmation scan.
( technically it not really parcels, it's total delivery confirmation scans).

Thanks for advising me to change the number of days manually.  It worked fine and it didn't need a password.  Not sure why it was counting 23 instead of 22.  I lost time but, before I did that I was only an H.  Now at least I can choose a J and take my every other Sat. LWOP.  Not sure if you can do that with an H route.  Anyone know if you are allowed to take LWOP every Sat. on an H route?  I used to take a few days every year LWOP on my K route because I would run out of Annual, but, now they told me I can't do that anymore.  I don't quite understand why they care if I don't get paid.  That would mean they are only paying one of us instead of 2.  They said "its not cost effective".  Well, doesn't make sense to me.  My math would say that if I take the day LWOP and my sub works, you are only paying one person.  And, if I take 11 days LWOP, then, they don't have to pay me another annual day.  Sounds like it should be a good deal for the USPS.  I guess I just don't do their kind of math.

Whewee! I looked and looked to find a change on the calculator. I found it, somehow my mileage had disappeared. When you have 88.5 miles it does make a difference!! Also did not get the answer to the question, I probably asked it wrong. I'll try again. If I have a parcel that is a delivery confirmation, do I get to count it in both column 6 AND column 15?

It's a parcel and a non-signature scan.

I notice in the formulas that we are using the reference cell (D14) divided by 18 then multiplied by 6 then multiplied by time factor. Will dividing by 18 give us the right number for a four week count, or should the formulas be revised to divide by 24  [4 weeks times 6 days]?

If it should be 24, there are multiple formulas using 18 as the divisor.

Thanks for all your work.  I really appreciate all you do.

The formula is dividing by cell I8 not 18. Cell I8 contains the number of days that have data entered.
