Nope. Compiled from scratch on an older Gentoo system.
Also using the latest Proj lib (4.6.1) compiled from scratch.
The link you sent me does sound mighty similar, though!

Interestingly, in 6.5 SVN (linked to the exact same Proj lib)
things work fine!
