ALTERNATE VENUES:

* Web:
http://www.livestream.com/metaworld6

(This isn't quite perfect. We aren't sure if we can stream the video
to the inworld locations, and the web chatroom associated with the
livestream may not be able to be captured. It does not connect to the
inworld chatbridge connecting all six locations. People may need to
watch on their web browser and join the discussion inworld. If someone
does watch on the web and is successful in capturing the chat from
that, please share it with me so we can include it in the report to
the NETP committee. An alternate web stream URL
(http://www.livestream.com/metaworld6/beta) takes away the station
chatroom functionality, but  provides access to Facebook and Twitter
chat.)

REDUCE LAG

You might have a better experience at the event if you remove scripted
objects (animation override tools, scanners such as the Mysti tool,
and interactive objects). You might also want to use your camera to
focus on the stage.

DISCUSSION

This event is being videotaped for the public, is being streamed to
the web, and the chatlog and all discussion will be archived on the
web.

(1) Speakers will present mostly in VOICE.

(2) Voice to chat transcription will be provided.  We ask that the
audience please use chat instead of voice unless unavoidable. In chat,
please preface your comments as follows.
 - Ask questions beginning with QUESTION:
 - Say comments beginning with COMMENT:
This will help both the transcriptionists, the speakers, and the team
assembling the report from the event. Your assistance is greatly
appreciated!

(3) We strongly encourage people to provide comments by notecard and
on the website as well as in the open discussion. There are mailboxes
and freebies by each entrance, as well as resources for new educators
in SL. The website for the National Educational Technology Plan is at
<https://edtechfuture.org/>. Please share your thoughts there also!.
